Potsdam-Babelsberg

How to get there:
Take the S-Bahn line S1 from Potsdam main station in the direction of Frohnau or Oranienburg on either track 6 or 7. The following station is already Potsdam-Babelsberg. Leave the Sbahn,take the exit in direction of travel. After the stairs, turn left and cross the street. You are now on the Rudolf-Breitscheid-Strasse where a few pubs, cafes and restaurants are located if you follow the street.

Potsdam-City-Centre

How to get there:
You can either walk from Potsdam Main Station which will take about 10-15 minutes or you can take the tram number 90,92 or 95. You should leave the tram at the stop Brandenburger Str. or Nauener Tor. If you would like to visit a location at Dortusstr. you should take the tram number 94 or 96 and leave at the stop Dortusstrasse.

Potsdam-Charlottenhof

How to get there:
If you are coming from Golm, you can leave the Regionalbahn (RB) at the stop Charlottenhof. This is one stop after Park Sanssouci and one before Potsdam-HBF. Get out of the station and on your left hand side is the B-West.
Starting at Potsdam main station you should take the tram number 96 and leave at the stop Charlottenhof.

Potsdam-Griebnitzsee

How to get there:
If you are coming from Golm and you are taking a Regionalbahn (RB) that left Golm Bahnhof at 2 minutes past a full hour you stay in this train until the final station called Griebnitzsee. This is one station after Potsdam-HBF. Then take the stairs, turn left, keep straight and follow the exit signs. After taking the stairs up you will find on your left hand side a wooden door still inside the station building. This is the entry of the pub Das Lokal.
If you are starting at Potsdam-HBF take the S1 in the direction of Oranienburg or Frohnau. Leave the Sbahn at the stop Griebnitzsee (2 stops after Potsdam-HBF). The only difference to above is that now you arrive on a different track.

Berlin: Savignyplatz

How to get there:
Take the train Regionalexpress number RE1 from Potsdam main station into the direction of Eisenhüttenstatt or Frankfurt Oder at track 4. This train leaves Potsdam main station each hour at 21 minutes past and 9 minutes to. After about 20 minutes you will reach the station Berlin-Zoologischer-Garten. Get off the train and go to the tracks number 5 and 6 where the Sbahn leaves. Then you can take the Sbahn S7 into the direction of Wansee or the S75 into the direction of Rathaus Spandau. Leave at the stop Savignyplatz. This is already the next after Berlin-Zoologischer Garten. Follow the exit signs and you will be directly at the Savignyplatz. All along this area are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

In order to return to Potsdam main station, take the train RE1 from Berlin-Zoologischer Garten into the direction of Magdeburg or Brandenburg leaving the station Berlin-Zoologischer-Garten each hour at 19 minutes past and 11 minutes to. Leave this train at Potsdam-HBF. Be aware that the last train leaving Berlin-Zoologischer is at 12:49pm.

Berlin, Savignyplatz

Berlin: Oranienburgerstr.

How to get there:
Take the train Regionalexpress number RE1 from Potsdam main station into the direction of Eisenhüttenstatt or Frankfurt Oder at track 4. This train leaves Potsdam main station each hour at 21 minutes past and 9 minutes to. After about 30 minutes you will reach the station Berlin-Friedrichstrasse. Get off the train and follow the sign for the Sbahn line number S1. Then take the Sbahn S1 into the direction of Oranienburg or Frohnau. Leave at the stop Oranienburger Strasse. This is already the next after Berlin-Friedrichstrasse. Follow the exit signs and you will be directly on the Oranienburger Strasse. Along this street are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Alternatively, you could take the S1 directly from Potsdam-HBF and leave it at the station Oranienburger Strasse. But this will take about 20 minutes longer, so it is more convinient to take the train RE1.

In order to return to Potsdam main station, take the train RE1 from Berlin-Friedrichstrasse into the direction of Magdeburg or Brandenburg leaving the station Berlin-Friedrichstrasse each hour at 10 minutes past and 19 minutes to. Leave this train at Potsdam-HBF. Be aware that the last train leaving Berlin-Friedrichstrasse is at 12:40pm.
The last S1 leaves Oranienburger Strasse at 12:12pm and the first one starts again at 3:52am.

Berlin, Oranienburgerstr.

Berlin: Prenzlauer Berg

How to get there:
Take the train Regionalexpress number RE1 from Potsdam main station into the direction of Eisenhüttenstatt or Frankfurt Oder at track 4. This train leaves Potsdam main station each hour at 21 minutes past and 9 minutes to. After about half an hour you will reach the station Berlin-Alexanderplatz. Get out off the train and follow the signs for the underground line number U2 (5 minutes walk). Then take the underground U2 into the direction of Pankow and leave at the stop Eberswalder Strasse, the third stop after Alexanderplatz. Take the exit on the left, after passing the stairs leave the snack point to your left and turn right again. You should cross the traffic light at the street Schönhauser Allee. There are lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants at the streets Pappelallee, Lychener Strasse, Schliemannstrasse, Raumerstrasse and at the Helmholzplatz.

In order to return to Potsdam main station, take the train RE1 from Berlin-Alexanderplatz into the direction of Magdeburg or Brandenburg leaving the station Berlin-Alexanderplatz each hour at 7 minutes past and 13 minutes to. Leave this train at Potsdam-HBF.
Be aware that the last train leaving Berlin-Alexanderplatz is at 12:37pm.

Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, Helmholzplatz

Berlin: Friedrichshain

How to get there:
Take the train Regionalexpress number RE1 from Potsdam main station into the direction of Eisenhüttenstatt or Frankfurt Oder at track 4. This train leaves Potsdam main station each hour at 21 minutes past and 9 minutes to. After about half an hour you will reach the station Berlin-Alexanderplatz. Get off the train and go to the tracks 1 and 2 where the Sbahn is located. Then you take the Sbahns S5 into the direction of Strausberg Nord, S7 into the direction of Ahrensfelde, S9 in to the direction of Berlin-Schönefeld. Leave the Sbahn at the station Warschauer Strasse (3rd stop after Alexanderplatz). Take the exit on the left hand side and follow the Warschauer Strasse until you reach the Street Revaler Strasse on your right. Follow this street and take the second street on the left. This is the Street Simon-Dach-Strasse where lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants are located. Furthermore, if you follow the Simon-Dach-Strasse and take the second street on your right (Krossener-Str.), you will reach the Boxenhagenerplatz where you will find more pubs, cafes and restaurants.

In order to return to Potsdam main station, take the train RE1 from Berlin-Alexanderplatz into the direction of Magdeburg or Brandenburg leaving the station Berlin-Alexanderplatz each hour at 7 minutes past and 13 minutes to. Leave this train at Potsdam-HBF.
Be aware that the last train leaving Berlin-Alexanderplatz is at 12:37pm.
