Linearized Gravity as the Rosetta Stone of Quantization Techniques |
| Abstract: |
While it is well known that the theory of linearized general
relativity does not lead to a viable quantum theory of gravity, it
provides a unique toy model in which to test quantization methods.
Recently,
this theory has been quantized using the projection operator
formalism.
The results of this approach are discussed, and compared to those
obtained using other quantization programs.
