Title: Large N QCD and spinfoam models
Abstract: A vacuum Feynman diagram of QCD in the large N approach is known to form the dual to a triangulation (and/or quadrangulation) of a two dimensional surface. In fact, such a two-complex possesses an additional structure provided by the coloring of its faces (loops) by fundamental representations of the color group SU(N). This remark turns a diagram of QCD into a two dimensional spinfoam model imbedded in the space-time of the field theory. I will show how this assertion can be concretely implemented by defining a spinfoam regularization of the path integral of a BF-like theory with appropriately chosen symmetry group.
