from the UV to the IR |
| Abstract: |
The construction of a microscopic theory of
quantum gravity in the asymptotic safety scenario
is reviewed, and the nonperturbative
renormalization group flow of Quantum Einstein
Gravity from the UV fixed point towards
macroscopic scales is described. Furthermore, the
emergence of a fractal spacetime structure will be
discussed.
