Some Insights for Quantum Gravity Derived from Work on Causal Sets
|
Abstract: |
Drawing on a range of results from the causet program,
I try to extract some general lessons that can help guide future
work on quantum gravity in general. Some of these insights are
of long standing, but some are very recent, notably the
indication that an "intermediate nonlocality scale" much greater
than the Planck length might be required to make contact with
local continuum physics.
